programme looks at the creative skills a video editor requires and
also considers some of the practical aspects of post production
using non-linear digital techniques.
A range of specially shot drama and documentary examples are used
to illustrate; types of shot and which to choose, jumps in time
and location, cutting an interview, how editing affects meaning,
sound, music and digital effects.
Non linear editing software is used to demonstrate practical examples
on-screen
The commentary is spoken by BBC broadcaster Sean Street, and each
programme is delivered in sections punctuated with Key Point Summaries.
